Mother Theresa was born in Skipje, Albania, on August 27,1910. Her first name was Agnes Gonxha Begaxhini.
She was sister in 18 years old and she went to the Calcutta. She was a good sister. She helped for many people. They relived the sufferings of the poor, the sick and dying. She was necessary for their she established an orphanage. Therefore she was included about 3000 sisters in this programmed. Then she made a uniform for these sisters. She described as a “call within a call” to help the desperately poor of India.
She is our Mother of nursing. She was awarded the first John 23 Peace prize in 1968 by Pope John Paul. She was honoured with the Jawaharlal Nehru Prize for International Understanding in 1972, the Templeton prize in1973, the Albert Schweitzer prize in 1975, the Nobel peace prize in 1979 and India’s high test civilian decoration a year later.
Mother Theresa was died in 1997 at the age of 87 in Calcutta.
